I led the design of McDonald's Corp.'s Employee Experience Portal, using a user-centered Design approach to enhance various employee experiences, including Leave of Absence, Portal Dashboard, Manager Hub, Crew Movement, and numerous HR-related features. This project resulted in the creation of a white-labeled design for the EEP Design System, providing a scalable and consistent framework for future clients.
Overview
The McDonald’s Employee Experience Platform (EEP) was designed to unify employee interactions, streamline HR workflows, and improve engagement across corporate and franchise networks. Built on the ServiceNow platform, the experience serves as a centralized digital workspace for all McDonald’s employees—providing a modern, intuitive interface that consolidates learning, HR, payroll, policies, and personalized tasks into one seamless ecosystem.
The platform was envisioned as the "digital front door" for McDonald’s employees—connecting day-to-day operational needs with career growth tools, company culture, and well-being resources.

Simplify access to HR and workplace services across global markets
Enhance employee efficiency by reducing friction in routine actions (pay slips, PTO, policies, etc.)
Enable personalization through user roles, context, and activity-based recommendations
Humanize digital work through visual storytelling, friendly tone, and brand-aligned design

Frequently used resources are organized into accessible tiles—Learning, Payslips, PTO, Holidays, Policies, and Ask HR—allowing employees to customize or edit their quick links to match personal workflows.
